Producer Morgan Bushe will talk about how Fastnet Films has evolved to
become one of Ireland's leading production companies. It has produced and
co-produced feature films and drama series with cumulative budgets of over
$100 million for domestic and international markets. They are currently in
pre production on The Surprise with the two-time Oscar winning director Mike
Van Diem, Mammal (dir. Rebecca Daly), and Strangerland (dir. Kim Farrant)
starring Nicole Kidman, Guy Pearce and Hugo Weaving.

About the Tutor:
Morgan Bushe was selected as the Irish representative as
part of the EFP Producer on the Move program at the Cannes Film Festival in
2012. His most recent documentary The Last Days of Peter Bergmann (dir.
Ciaran Cassidy) won the audience award at the IFI's 2013 Stranger than
Fiction Festival and has been selected to screen as part of the 2014
Sundance Film Festival. In 2013, Morgan launched sister company WildCard
Distribution, an Irish film distributor to acquire and release films in
Irish cinemas, Video on Demand, DVD and across platforms and in multiple
territories simultaneously.
