The first ever International Wrongful Conviction Film Festival hosted by the Irish Innocence Project will take place at Griffith College on the 27th of June 2015. There will be eight films screened during the day – most of which have never been shown in Ireland or have had limited distribution – and concluding with a special screening of ‘In the Name of the Father’ with Jim Sheridan and Gerry Conlon’s family.

This intensive 2-day workshop will introduce beginners to many aspects of camera and lighting work, as well as those looking to refresh their skills. Using the Sony EX1 camera our experienced tutor will introduce students to the basic functions of the camera throughout day one. On day two students will get a chance to create simple lighting set-ups to test out.
