The crime drama written and directed by Lord of the Dance star Michael Flatley will have its world premiere at the Raindance Film Festival this week.
Flatley also stars in the film, which tells the story of troubled secret agent “Blackbird", who abruptly retires from services and heads to the Caribbean to open a nightclub in hopes of escaping his past. An old flame arrives, and while she reignites his love life, she also brings along danger.

Irish production companies Egg Studios and Five Knight Films will co-produce the project in conjunction with West One Entertainment and Dance Lord Productions.
As well as having a private screening of "Blackbird" at London's Raindance Film Festival, Michael Flatley will also be sitting on the festival’s jury.
