Nicola Brown, Commissioning Editor, Specialist Factual with Channel 4 and BBC 3 controller, Fiona Campbell, will participate in two Masterclasses in Belfast this September.
WFTV Northern Ireland will host an insightful masterclass with C4 Commissioning Editor, Specialist Factual, Nicola Brown. Nicola will be discussing how she developed her career in film and TV and revealing her top tips for making it in the industry. She will also be talking about some of the many hit shows she has worked on. And Nicola will also be discussing what it’s really like to be a commissioner and the key secrets to successfully pitching your idea.
The Masterclass takes place on Friday 13thSeptember at The Mac, Belfast from 4pm to 5.30pm. Tickets can be booked on the WFTV website
The Nicola Brown Masterclass will be followed by a unique masterclass with BBC3 Controller, Fiona Campbell, on Friday 20thSeptember at BBC Blackstaff Studios, Belfast from 10.30am to 12 noon. Fiona will be discussing how she built and developed her career to become the first female controller of BBC Three. She will talk about the day-to-day realities of running a channel and the types of shows and ideas she is now looking to commission.
