Former Late Late Show presenter Ryan Tubridy has announced he is joining Virgin Radio in London as a presenter.
Ryan Tubridy, who left his role as Late Late Show presenter at RTÉ earlier this year shortly before it was revealed that the national broadcaster paid him €345,000 more than it had declared to the public and Oireachtas over several years.
Tubridy revealed the news on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show on the station this morning, after posting a video to his Instagram announcing: “I’m in the back of a London cab heading to a building near the River Thames where I’ll be making quite a big announcement in my world.”
The former Late Late presenter is moving to London for the new position.
Virgin Radio is part of the Murdoch-owned Wireless Radio group. Tubridy begins a new show on the station on January 4th.
