The Park Studio will run a course in TV Production, Direction and Presentation beginning on Saturday, 7th May.
This course will provide practical, hands-on experience in all aspects of TV with an emphasis on Presentation and Direction. Those particularly interested in presenting will get the opportunity to learn from current presenters and get to present many different items during the course - single camera, multi-camera, interviews and programmes both as sole presenter and with a co-presenter.
Those interested in directing for TV will get the opportunity to direct single and multicamera set ups with a crew to include camera people, vision mixer, floor manager, sound, lighting and a production assistant. They will learn how to work off a camera script and how to bring a programme together.
The Park Studio’s training in the past has been successful in developing the next generation of TV personnel. This course will equip attendees with the necessary skills to get to the next level and show how television works, from idea to broadcast and it provides industry experience, with an emphasis on practical training throughout.
