Sean Moncrieff will make his return to our TV screens this March as host of TV3’s new game show ‘Crossfire’.
‘Crossfire’, a 3Studios and Nice group (Scandinavia) co-production, is the third major production from TV3 in 2014.
Moncrieff previously hosted his own chat show ‘Good Grief Moncrieff’ on RTÉ, ‘Don’t Feed the Gondolas’ and was the voice of ‘The Restaurant’.
Co-produced by 3Studios and Gong Media – part of the Nordic independent production alliance Nice group, ‘Crossfire’ sees four competitors go head-to-head in an attempt to force each other out of the game. The show will show 20 x 30 minute episodes, every Monday and Friday in a primetime 8pm slot.
The lighting on set is from the premier lighting and visual design company High Res Lighting and the set is built by graphic company ReelGood. Andrew Byrne (TV3 Group Head of Development) and Henrik Bisjaer (Nice Group Head of Acquisitions) are the executive producers on the show. Studio producer is Tony Brady and production manager is Dee Keane.
A new current affairs programme ‘The People’s Debate with Vincent Browne’ is also scheduled to air live from Wednesday March 5th. ‘Crossfire’, as well as other recent shows including ‘Keith Barry: Brain Hacker’ and ‘The Lie’ hosted by Jonathan McCrea are due to be showcased at MIP in Cannes this April.
‘Crossfire’ premieres on Friday 28th March at 8pm on TV3 and will broadcast weekly every Monday and Friday.
