Season four of Good Company Productions’ popular series ‘Feirm Factor’ is now rolling with filming taking place throughout Ireland in locations such as Clonakilty Agricultural College, Cork and Agricultural Colleges in Ballyhaise, Co.Cavan and Kildalton, Co. Kilkenny.
Filming for the series will take place over the next two months in locations throughout Ireland and Wales. The final five farmers are brought to Wales and then return to Charleville Castle at the end of the summer for the final.
The fourth series of the show is presented by Maura Derrane (Four Live) and produced by Evan Chamberlain (Hector I gCeanada). Director of Photography is Ross O’Callaghan. The resident farming expert on this year’s show is Seán O Lionáird who will be joined by other faming experts including Professor of Veterinary Clinical Studies in UCD Dr. Michael Doherty and former Minister for Agriculture Mary Coughlan.
12 new farmers are competing for the title of top farmer with the top prize coming from FBD Insurance and Land Rover. Farming issues to be handled by the competing farmers include Tractor Navigation, Farm Safety, Animal Handling and Dosing.
‘Feirm Factor’ Series 4 will be shown on TG4 in Spring 2012.
