New El Zorrero Films format ‘Pioc Do Ride’ kicks off on TG4 on Thursday, 24th September at 10pm.
The format is described as an outrageous dating show which aims to find the answer to the question: Do Irish men care more about their cars than relationships?
The lighthearted and first of its kind series aims to find love for some of Ireland’s loneliest drivers. Are men really going to choose a date over a car service?
Commisioned by Proinsias Ní Ghrainne and Laura Ní Cheallaigh, ‘Pioc do Ride’ is an original TV format that will run for 13 weeks. It is produced by Dave Clarke and Ciarán Deeney of El Zorrero Films and directed by Dermot O’Hanlon. The series is presented by Dubliner Aine Goggins who previously presented ‘Ó Tholg go Tolg’ also on TG4.
International sales are handled by Nordic World who have previously sold a range of Irish formatted TV shows abroad including the extremely successful Feirm Factor which also started out on TG4.
