New trailer for ‘Jupiter Ascending’
A second trailer for the upcoming sci-fi action movie ‘Jupiter Ascending’ has been released. The film stars Channing Tatum, who plays an interplanetary warrior, and Mila Kunis, a seemingly normal girl with DNA that puts her next in line for an extraordinary inheritance. Written and directed by Lana and Andy Wachowski, ‘Jupiter Ascending’ is set in a future of interplanetary travel and ruled by gods.
This summer’s latest offering also features Sean Bean (Game of Thrones), Eddie Redmayne (Les Misérables), Douglas Booth (Noah) and Tuppence Middleton (Trance). Warner Bros will release the Village Roadshow co-production on July 18th in the US and a week later in Irish cinemas.

Fox Animation’s ‘Rio 2’
‘Rio 2’, Fox Animation and Blue Sky Studios direct sequel to the 2011 hit ‘Rio’ is set to release in Ireland on April 4. The film will centre around the 2014 FIFA World Cup and features Blu, voiced by Jesse Eisenberg, and Anne Hathaway’s character Jewel.
Director Carlos Saldanha’s anticipated family comedy has already broke records at its Miami premiere as it danced its way into the Guinness World Records largest Samba party on March 21, 2014. The film looks set to build on the success of the original film.
Leslie Mann, Jamie Foxx , Rodrigo Santoro, Jake T. Austin, George Lopez, and Will i Am are also in the mix of animated characters.
Ben McKenzie in ‘Gotham’ Role
Ex OC star Ben McKenzie has debuted his first look in the lead role of Detective James Gordon in the new Fox drama ‘Gotham’. ‘Gotham’ is an origin story of the great DC Comics super villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. The pilot is written and executive produced by ‘The Mentalist’s’ Bruno Heller, along with Warner Bros. Television, and directed by ‘Judge Dredd’ helmer Danny Cannon.
Other cast members include Robin Taylor (Oswald Cobblepot), Sean Pertwee (Alfred Pennyworth), Camren Bicondova (Selina Kyle), Donal Logue (Detective Harvey Bullock), Drew Powell (Butch Gilzean), Zabryna Guevara (Captain Essen), and Erin Richards (Barbara Kean).
