18th February - 26th March 2014 (six evenings)	Filmbase - Directing for the Screen Go » This course is a primer in directing. An introduction to all the main aspects of directing is combined with practical exercises in shooting to give an overview and experience of the basics – the practical knowledge you need in order to direct films. You will be guided through the process of preparation, taking in all the major departments that come together to make a film possible. In addition to practical exercises, all participants will shoot and crew short scenes.

Starts 18th February (8 week evening course)	Cork Film Centre - Short Script Writing Evening Course Go » Starts Tuesday February 18th 7-9pm €195 (€95 deposit) Tutor Yvonne Keane Course covers structure, character arch, skills, techniques, format, festivals and funding! No previous experience necessary. Venue: Cork Film Centre, Civic Trust House, 50 Popes Quay, Cork Course Times: Tuesday evenings, 7pm - 9pm Places are limited so please book early.
