Guth Gafa (meaning ‘captive voice’) is Ireland’s only independent documentary film festival. They focus on showcasing the latest award-winning International and Irish documentary films on thought-provoking subjects, and promoting the art of great story-telling, through film, to rural Irish communities. The festival returns in 2015 to Kells, County Meath. It will get underway on Friday, October 2nd through to Sunday October 4th in the magnificent and tranquil grounds of the 18th century Headfort House, a hidden gem close to the historic village of Kells in Co Meath.
