Sharon Horgan, Róisín Gallagher, and Éanna Hardwicke among BAFTA TV Award nominees

BAFTA TV Awards
The BAFTA TV Award nominees have been announced. Róisín Gallagher, Éanna Hardwicke, Sharon Horgan, Graham Norton, and Máiréad Tyers are among the Irish talent nominated.

A number of Irish talent have been nominated for the BAFTA TV Awards across the acting, writing, and entertainment categories.

Sharon Horgan is nominated for Leading Actress for her role in four-part drama Best Interests, in which Niamh Moriarty co-starred with Horgan. Actor Éanna Hardwicke has been nominated in the Supporting Actor category for his performance in BBC drama The Sixth Commandment. Róisín Gallagher is nominated for Female performance in a comedy for The Lovers.

Máiréad Tyers is also nominated for Female performance in a comedy, for Disney+ series Extraordinary, written by Irish showrunner Emma Moran. Moran is nominated in the Scripted Comedy category.

The Graham Norton Show is shortlisted in the Comedy Entertainment category, with Norton is nominated for Entertainment Performance.

The BAFTA TV Craft Award winners will be announced on 28 April, with the main BAFTA Television Awards ceremony to be held on 12 May.
