Screen Ireland leading Irish delegation to showcase Irish TV drama at Content London 2023

Screen Ireland is leading a delegation of 39 Irish producers this week to attend Content London, the world’s leading TV development marketplace and conference taking place 27th-30th November. The development market and conference will feature full three-day agendas across two core content strands of Drama and Formats & Factual.

Since Screen Ireland introduced development funding for TV drama in 2015, TV drama production in Ireland has continued to grow and established Ireland as a major player in the international television industry. Irish TV drama has gone from strength to strength in the last few years, with a diverse array of new series and talent reaching international audiences across the globe and receiving major award attention (Normal People, The Dry, Kin). New Irish TV dramas that aired this year included Obituary, Northern Lights and Clean Sweep.

The Irish delegation is composed of creatives with projects in development on company slates and producers who are targeting an international TV Development strategy. Content London attendance will allow a diverse range of talent to garner international intel in relation to the current television marketplace and further support their roadmap in terms of television production.

The Irish production companies attending Content London as part of the Irish delegation include 925 Productions, Blue Ink Films / Picture Locked, Danú Media, EZ Films, Feline Films, Four Quadrant Films, Fubar Films, Gaze Pictures, Great Island, Indie Pics, Keeper Pictures, Lexian Pix, Loosehorse, Metropolitan Films, MK1, Motherland, and Nine Daughters.

Also in attendance are Pembridge Pictures, Picture Locked Pics, Samson Films, ShinAwil, Soho Moon Pictures Limited, Stalker Films, Still Films, Straywave, Tailored Films, Telegael, Tiger Darling Productions, Tile Media, Treasure Entertainment, Tua Films, Vico Films, Wide Eye Films, and Wild Atlantic Pictures.

Several independent Irish producers and Screen Ireland representatives will also be attending the conference. The Irish delegation was supported in partnership with the Cultural & Creative Industries Skillnet.
