Studiocanal announce Irish & UK acquisition of The Apprentice
16 May 2024 | Studiocanal has today announced the acquisition for Ireland & the UK of The Apprentice, Ali Abbasi’s exploration of Donald Trump’s rise to power in 1980s America. The Apprentice will receive its world premiere in competition at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.

Jim Jarmusch’s Father Mother Sister Brother wraps filming
16 May 2024 | Jim Jarmusch’s latest project Father Mother Sister Brother, starring Cate Blanchett, Adam Driver, and Tom Waits, has wrapped filming. The film is a triptych with the ‘Mother’ section of the film set in Dublin. Blanchett was spotted filming in Stoneybatter earlier this year.
