UPC Signs Ireland International

Irish International has secured a three year term with UPC where it will oversee the development of tailored campaigns with an aim to engaging consumers and promoting continued sales growth.

Interview: Dave Birss Feeds the Digital Sharks
15 Sep 2010 | The 2010 Kinsale Shark Awards will take place this year on the 17th and 18th of September. This year the award categories will include four new Digital categories, namely: Digital Channel, Digital Craft, Digital Fresh Thinking and Digital Worldwinner. Rose of Tralee Attracts One Million+ Viewers
26 Aug 2010 | The Rose of Tralee on RTÉ One was the most-watched programme on any channel available in Ireland so far this year. A peak of over one million viewers saw London Rose Clare Kambamettu crowned the 52nd Rose of Tralee on Tuesday, August 26th. Hosted for the first time by a native Kerry-man in the shape of Dáithi O’Sé, the two day event was watched by an average of 916,300 people.

Working Title Fill Gary Shore's 'Cup of Tears'
17 Jun 2010 | Gary Shore (The Draught) put his blood, sweat and tears into a trailer for ‘Cup of Tears’, a live action version of Japanese animation. The short trailer did a rapid tour through hundreds of LA inboxes and now UK company Working Title have come on board to transform Shore’s trailer into a large scale feature film. The director spoke to IFTN about his project’s extraordinary journey thus far...

Sir John Hegarty Swims with Kinsale Sharks
11 May 2010 | Sir John Hegarty has been chosen as this Honorary President for the 2010 Kinsale Shark Awards. The advertising heavyweight will speak at the event alongside friends and fellow ad execs Billy Mawhinney and Max Forsythe. The festival will, this year, feature new digital categories designed by Ogilvyone’s David Birss.

Entitled ‘Political Advertising: The regulatory Position and the Public View’ the report was written by Dr. Kevin Rafter and was funded through the BAI’s Media Research Bursary Scheme.
