IFTA Opens Call for Entries For 6th Awards
30 Oct 2008 | The call for entries for the 6th Annual Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTAs) is now open. Submissions are invited for categories in film, television, shorts and animation. This year sees the introduction of a new Feature Documentary category. Deadline for entires is 17 November 2008.

Irish Film & TV Expenditure Increase by 13%
21 Nov 2007 | IBEC's 2007 review, released this week, show that there has been an overall increase of 13% in Irish expenditure in Film and TV production for 2007. Figures have increased for the second year running, from €96.9 million in 2005, €161.2 million in 2006 to an estimated €182 million in 2007.
