Max have released the official trailer for The Penguin, starring and executive produced by Colin Farrell. The series will premiere on Sky Atlantic and Now TV in Ireland.
The official trailer for the upcoming HBO series The Penguin starring Colin Farrell has been released. Farrell will reprise his role from Matt Reeves’ The Batman, in which he played a new take on classic Batman villain The Penguin, also known as Oswald Cobblepot.
Set days after the events of 2022’s The Batman, The Penguin follows Oswald Cobblepot’s transformation “from a disfigured nobody to a noted Gotham gangster”.
Irish cinematographer Darran Tiernan (Westworld, Barry) is handling the cinematography of the series on three of the series’ eight episodes. Farrell also serves as one of the executive producers on the new series alongside Reeves.
The Penguin is set to premiere in the autumn on Sky Atlantic and Now TV in Ireland.
