Bow Street Academy of Screen Acting will host the award-winning Australian actor on Saturday, September 7th.
Weaving stars in Irish Famine revenge thriller Black 47, which opened in cinemas on Wednesday. The masterclass will focus on the skills, methodology and aesthetics of screen acting.
The session will also focus on Hugo Weaving’ vast experience as an actor working across various genres and environments. His impressive list of credits includes The Lord of The Rings Trilogy, The Matrix, Hacksaw Ridge and many more.
Additionally, the masterclass will look at the collaborative dynamics between the director and the actor, as Black 47 director Lance Daly will facilitate the event.
Gráinne Bennett, Training Executive Screen, Training Ireland said:
“I am delighted to be working with Bow Street Academy of Screen Acting to bring this Masterclass with Hugo Weaving to an audience of Irish actors. Having Lance Daly to facilitate the masterclass will enhance the experience for all involved.”
The masterclass takes place on Saturday 8th September at 10:30 am.
