Irish Film & TV Expenditure Increase by 13% |

Figures have increased for the second year running, from €96.9 million in 2005, €161.2 million in 2006 to an estimated €182 million in 2007. |

UTV Posts 4% Profit Growth |
04 Sep 2007 | Multi media group UTV posted a 4% rise in operating profit for the first six months, to 30 June 2007. The interim results showed profits up to £13m (£12.5m in 2006) with television operating profits remaining static (£5.6m) and an increase in new media revenue. |
