Animated Series ‘Becca’s Bunch’ from JAM Media acquired by ABC KIDS, Australia
2017-01-12 9:00:00 : Katie McNeice
The new series from the Dublin-based production, distribution and licensing company is currently in production and merges live action, puppetry, 2D and CG animation.

In addition ABC KIDS has previously picked up the rights to new hybrid live action/animated series Little Roy (52 x 14’), which will broadcast in 2017.

This follows another agreement for the exclusive broadcast rights to ‘Becca’s Bunch’ in the US and Pay TV rights for the rest of the world with Nickelodeon, in October of 2016.

‘Becca’s Bunch’ centres around Becca, a bird that chirps to her own tune. Her can-do attitude allows her big ideas to take flight on the most fantastical adventures around Wagtail Woods. Becca and her Bunch—Pedro, Russell and Sylvia—boldly go where no bird, worm, squirrel and fox have gone before.

John Reynolds, Chief Commercial Officer, JAM Media:
“ABC continues to show its commitment to our shows and we are thrilled that ABC KIDS and ABC KIDS iview will air both Becca’s Bunch and Little Roy next year. ABC KIDS is the perfect home for our series in this terri-tory and we’re hopeful preschoolers in Australia will become fast fans of both shows.”
