Apple Original Films has released the official trailer for John Carney’s Flora and Son. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and sold to Apple Original Films for approximately $20 million.

The film stars Eve Hewson (Bad Sisters), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception), Jack Reynor (Midsommar) and Orén Kinlan (Sunlight). The cast also includes Amy Huberman (The Stag) and Don Wycherley (Sing Street).

Flora and Son follows single mother Flora (Hewson) and her rebellious teenage son, Max (Kinlan). Encouraged by the police to find Max a hobby, Flora tries to occupy him with a beat-up acoustic guitar, with the help of a washed-up LA musician (Levitt).
