2017-08-08-15:11:00 : Katie McNeice
Creative Europe are set to host events on Sunday September 3rd and Monday September 4th.

The first of these, ‘Virtual gets real: exploring the industrial and societal effects of Virtual Reality’, runs from 15:00 to 18:00 at the Excelsior Hotel, Venice Lido, Sala degli Stucchi.

The second, ‘Shaping together the MEDIA Programme of the future’ focuses on the EU’s support to the audiovisual industry.

It is expected that the newly appointed Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society, Mariya Gabriel, will be sharing her perspective on the current and future MEDIA programme during the event. The event will take place on Monday September 4th, from 10:00-11:45 at the Excelsior Hotel, Venice Lido, Sala degli Stucchi.

The European Film Forum is a platform for a structured dialogue between policy makers and the stakeholders in the audiovisual sector.

The Venice Film Festival runs from August 30th-September 9th, 2017.
