ADIFF Festival Board adds Mark O’Halloran & Suzanne Noble

The Audi Dublin International Film Festival has announced its team has brought actor/writer O’Halloran, publicist and and executive Sharkey on board, as Sarah Sharkey is also brought into the role of Managing Director.

The 2018 installment of the festival will run from February 22nd to March 4th, with submissions already open on Film Freeway and festival season tickets on sale.

Sarah Sharkey’s career began at Opera Theatre Company before moving to McConnells Advertising and spent a decade working at various agencies. She joined Ulster Band in 2007 and after 4 years in finance she moved to Warner Bros. Pictures as Media Manager and joined the ADIFF team as Sponsorship Manager in 2016.

Mark O‘Halloran is perhaps best known for his work in Lenny Abrahamson’s ‘Adam and Paul’, not only penning the screenplay but portraying Adam on screen. His other leading acting credits include MP in Fiona Tan’s ‘History’s Future’, which earned him an IFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Lead Role in Film this year. As a writer he has brought ‘Garage’, ‘Viva’ and ‘Prosperity’ to fruition. In theatre he has most recently worked on both The Importance of Nothing with Pan Pan Theatre and The Shadow of a Gunman with The Abbey Theatre Dublin.

Suzanne Noble has been the Head of UK Publicity and Corporate Communications at STUDIOCANAL in London since 2009 spearheading strategic campaigns for titles such as ‘Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy’, ‘Four Lions’, ‘Rush’, ‘Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa’, ‘Legend’, ‘Paddington’ and ‘Shaun The Sheep The Movie’. Previously VP International Publicity at The Weinstein Company and Head of Publicity for Icon with 20 years of industry experience.
