'Into the Badlands' Confirmed for Shoot in Ireland

AMC’s martial arts hit show, 'Into the Badlands', will shoot with two full units for 16 weeks in Ireland from end of August, in locations in Dublin and Wicklow.

The American television series premiered on AMC November 15, 2015, and stars Daniel Wu, Orla Brady and Sarah Bolger. On March 8, 2016, AMC renewed the show for a 10-episode second season, set to premiere in 2017.

Created by Al Gough and Miles Millar, the drama is loosely based on ‘Journey to the West’. Executive producers are Stacey Sher, Michael Shamberg, Aldred Gough, Miles Millar, martial arts filmmakers Daniel Wu and Stephen Fung, and David Dobkin.
