Adventure series ’50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy’ has been nominated for an International Emmy Award in the category of Non-Scripted Entertainment.
The show, currently airing its’ second series on Sky One, is made by Burning Bright Productions and Brown Bread Films and follows Irish presenter Baz Ashmawy (‘How Low Can You Go?’ ‘Baz’s Extreme Worlds’) as he sets sail across locations including Africa, Asia and the USA on a journey designed by Baz to test his Mammy’s (Nancy Ashmawy) mettle.
Directed by Barry Egan of Brown Bread Films who previously worked with Ashmawy whilst directing ‘Baz’s Extreme Worlds’ and ‘Baz’s Culture Clash’, all post production on the series was completed by EGG Post Production in Dublin.
The series was also recently nominated for an IFTA in the Entertainment category.
Irish sitcom ‘Moone Boy’, created by Chris O’Dowd and Nick Vincent Murphy and nominated for five IFTA Awards at the IFTA Gala Television Awards this year, won the International Emmy Award in 2013.
