Blind Irish adventurer Mark Pollock, who has raced to the South Pole and climbed the Himalayas, will be presenting a new documentary series on Setanta Sport called ‘Yes I Can’ which premieres on the 7th November at 9pm and runs for four weeks.
‘Yes I Can’ follows four individuals with different disabilities who share their life’s experience with Pollock and then try overcoming them by partaking in an extreme sport. Participants can be seen doing anything from water-skiing, race car driving to an adventure course. The programme aims to encourage people with a disability to live their lives to their fullest.

For the first time in Ireland audiences were able to access sneak previews of ‘Yes I Can’ through webisodes on beActive’s Youtube page.
The series, which was directed by award-winning Irish director David Freyne (The Mill, Man in 301) and produced by beActive (Sofia’s Diary), has been funded by the Irish Broadcasting Authority through the Sound and Vision scheme and Setanta Sport.
