Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell has joined host David Walliams as a panellist on Sky 1’s ‘Wall of Fame’.
The first programme of the series broadcast Friday 17th June at 10pm on Sky1 and featured Irish comedian Andrew Maxwell alongside Jack Dee (Lead Balloon), Tamara Ecclestone and Kate Garraway (Daybreak). Maxwell is partnered with Kate Garraway on one team and Jack Dee and Tamara Ecclestone on the opposing side. Andrew Maxwell has previously acted as a panellist on RTÉ’s ‘The Panel’ from 2004-2009.
Each week they’ll be joined by two guests to complete their teams of three, this week’s guests are Billy Piper and Sally Bercow, (wife of the Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow). The teams battle it out each week as they compete to answer questions about pop culture and current affairs.
Andrew Maxwell commented on his new spot on David Walliam’s (Little Britain) show saying “As a news bug myself, I am really looking forward to sitting on a panel week in and week out with comedy giants David and Jack and discussing all the week’s news and gossip. It’s a really exciting show and I’m delighted to be part of it”.
