Chief Financial Officer of the Cineworld Group, Richard Jones has resigned after over 15 years in the company. The Cineworld Group has 78 cinemas and 790 screens operating across the UK, Ireland and Jersey including Cineworld Dublin which is located on Parnell Street and is Ireland’s largest cinema with 17 screens.
Cineworld Dublin is the second highest grossing cinema in the UK and Ireland. It was bought by Cineworld from UGC in 2004 and renamed Cineworld in 2005. Richard Jones has been with the company for over 15 years and the release from Cineworld says that he had “achieved all that he wanted to achieve with Cineworld, he now wishes to embark on fresh challenges.” Vice-presidents Tony Yoe and Suki Dhadwar will assume Richard’s responsibilities on an interim basis.
