An advert published on the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht website is seeking expressions of interest in future vacancies on the Irish Film Board, National Gallery of Ireland and the Abbey Theatre.
Published by Jimmy Dennihan, Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht the advert invites expressions of interest in board member positions from qualified and experienced applicants. Minister Deenihan commented on the advert saying “this is an exciting opportunity for suitable and experienced people to help shape the future of these wonderful institutions. We are seeking to widen the pool of suitable candidates for consideration for appointment to these bodies.”
The advert can be seen on the website at www.dtcs.gov.ie. Applicants should state which board they wish to be considered for and detail relevant experience and qualifications as well as potential conflict of interest in their appointment to the Board. Expressions of interest should be sent by email to tadhgoshea@tcs.gov.ie or in writing to Tadhg O'Shea, Department of Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht Affairs, New Road, Killarney, County Kerry to be received no later than 5.00pm., Friday 8th July 2011.
