Eurotek/VFX in conjunction with Autodesk is hosting a series of free seminars to show off new enhancements and features of its signature visual effects, 3D Animation editing, and colour-grading solutions. The first of these will take place in Dublin’s Morgan hotel on Tuesday, May 10th between 11 am and 5pm and will see a demonstration of the new 2012 Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suites and software such as the Maya 2012, 3ds Max 2012 and the Mudbox 2012 painting toolset.
The seminar will look to illustrate how users can create innovative visual effects, move data faster, and streamline pipeline efficiency. The software being introduced at the event will include the Maya 2012, which looks to act as a toolset for pre-visualisation and games prototyping, extended simulation capabilities, and improved pipeline integration; the Mudbox 2012 software looks to deliver significant enhancements to the painting toolset through new UV and topology-independent workflows and practical posing tools and the Autodesk MotionBuilder 2012 software which aims to increase productivity through enhanced interoperability and more consistent user interfaces with other products in the Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suites 2012.
This is the first of many free seminars Eurotek and Autodesk will come together to host this summe. Product experts from Eurotek and Autodesk will give demonstrations at the events and will be available for questions throughout as to the products which were used to create the effects in recent award winning film ‘Black Swan’ and chart-topping video game, ‘Medal of Honour’.
