Comedian Dylan Moran’s brand new comedy series Stuck begins this Thursday September 8th at 10pm on BBC Two.
Made by Hat Trick Productions, the five-part series was filmed on location in Belfast with funding from Northern Ireland Screen.
A sometimes dark, sometimes surreal sitcom, Stuck centres around the relationship between Dan (Dylan Moran) and Carla (Morgana Robinson). Dan has been recently made redundant, while Carla is wondering whether this is all she can expect from life. Add their age gap to the mix, and the re-emergence onto the scene of Carla’s ex-girlfriend Maya, and it’s no wonder that they’re feeling stuck.
Stuck (5 x 15’) is a Hat Trick Production for the BBC, written by Dylan Moran and commissioned by BBC Comedy. Ian FitzGibbon (Hullraisers, Raised By Wolves, Moone Boy) directed the series, while Nick Coupe featured as producer and the executive producer was Jimmy Mulville.
The commissioning editors for BBC Comedy were Gregor Sharp and Seb Barwell and the commissioning editor for BBC Northern Ireland was Eddie Doyle.
The first two episodes will air on Thursday, September 8th at 10pm and all five episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer.
