XYZ Films has acquired the North American sales rights to the Toronto-bound drama ‘The Dig’.
Directed by first-time filmmakers Andy and Ryan Tohill, ‘The Dig’ is written by Stuart Drennan and produced by Brian J. Falconer (‘Normal People’) of Out of Orbit.
The film stars Moe Dunford (‘Vikings’, ‘Rosie’), Francis Magee (‘Game of Thrones’), Emily Taaffe (‘War & Peace’) and Lorcan Cranitch (‘Fortitude’).
The film follows Callahan (Dunford) who, after serving fifteen years in prison for murder, returns home only to find Sean (Cranitch), his victim’s father still searching for the body.
‘The Dig’ will make its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
