Run by actor, writer and tutor David Scott, The Applied Art of Acting three month fulltime course is auditioning now.
Running from the first week of September to the last week of November, this will be the sixth yearly intake of this highly regarded course. It features intensive and immersive single-technique training, professional headshots and filmed show-reel material and an Industry showcase.
With regular visits from Industry leading directors and casting directors, this practical acting program has been designed as responses to the requirements of professional actors in the business who want to take their standard of performance to the highest levels. Professionals who have run workshops and talked to students in the past include Mary Maguire, Wayne Jordan, Ali Coffey, Louise Kiely, Owen Roe and Nick Dunning.
Other courses coming up include a weekend workshop in which actors learn newly developed techniques for learning lines effectively and testing them in an audition technique workshop. The Line Learning and Audition Technique Weekend takes place on May 21st and 22nd.
The popular Summer Week Intensive takes place from August 8th to 12th this year with classes running from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday of that week.
The new terms of the part time evening classes, The Actors Wednesday Workshop and The Actors Friday Studio - will all begin in the first week of September.
