Showtime's ‘The Tudors’ has triumphed at the Geminis - Canada's TV Awards, claiming four trophies including Irish actress Maria Doyle Kennedy picking up the Best Supporting Actress Award.
’The Tudors’, a Canadian-Irish co-production which has recently wrapped it’s third series of filming in Ardmore Studios earned Geminis for Best Series Visual Effects (Winning team - Bob Munroe, Terry Bradley, Lisa Carr-Harris, Bret Culp, Bill Halliday, Warren Leathem, Bo Mosley), Best Production Design for Irish designer Tom Conroy and Eliza Solesbury and Ousama Rawi picking up Best Photography Award.
Wednesday's ceremony was the third day in which Geminis have handed out and covered drama, variety and comedy programming.
