A most unusual location for rural Ireland, the Quarters is two original Victorian red brick streets of the Industrial Revolution period, much like those found in Manchester.

How they come to be here in the middle of North Cork is down to a quirk of History, as the British army set up a major Barracks nearby and needed houses for their men. It would be a great location if you needed to cheat it for a Northern inner city environment.

Distance from Cork: 45 minutes
