Also known as Lovespell, this is a dramatisation of the infamous Tristan and Isolt legend.
While in Ireland, Mark, King of Cornwall falls in love with Isolt, a young princess. On returning home he dispatches his nephew to Ireland to return with Isolt so that he can marry her. However in Ireland Tristan and Isolt fall in love and, although she returns to marry Mark, she refuses to sleep with him. Mark soon discovers her affair and banishes Mark. Wandering the countryside, Tristan is attacked by bandits and Mark allows him to return home as he nears death. However when Isolt sees the black flag on the ship, she believes that Tristain is dead and she throws herself from a cliff. The two dying lovers are reunited on the beach.
