2rn have a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experienced Broadcast Engineer to work in the National Monitoring Centre (NMC). This is a full-time, fixed-term (6 months) shift position, based in Dublin 24.
Primary responsibilities will be to control and monitor the day to day operational status of the 2rn Analogue Radio, Digital Radio, and Television transmission network, and to identify issues and perform remedial action across the network as necessary; utilising remote-control technologies and graphical user interfaces. The engineer will be required to diagnose service issues/problems and undertake first-line maintenance and remedial actions.
Applicants should hold a third level qualification in electronics or telecommunications and have previous experience in a technical and customer-focused environment.
