Overview
CPI is the voluntary organisation of independent Irish commercial production and post production companies.
Its objective is to distribute to members news of issues, technologies and trends affecting the advertising and broadcast industries, set industry standards in areas such as health, safety, quoting and billing practices, and to act on behalf of its members as a referral service to agencies, potential clients and producers wishing to do business in Ireland.
CPI is looking for an Administrator to work closely with the Chairperson and Executive Committee to help in the smooth running of the Association.
Responsibilities
- Work 8 hours per week based from home administering the day to day needs of CPI in regular contact with exec committee and chair.
- Communicate effectively to CPI members.
- Establish CPI calendar of events including members and sub-committee meetings, sending members updates and reminders, taking and circulating minutes and action points.
- Manage and update CPI website, social media channels and monitor CPI emails. Invoice and collect annual membership fees from members.
- Assist EDA committee members where required.
- Build relations with industry and governmental bodies and represent CPI members with regular contact with these parties (IAPI, ICAD, AAI, Sharks, Creative Ireland, IBEC, Screen Ireland, SPI, Dept of Culture, Heritage & Gaeltacht etc).
The Person
- A highly organised dynamic self-starter with the ability to work independently and autonomously.
- Relevant industry experience ideally with advertising, marketing, PR, legal and/or commercials
- Production background.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to understand and action funding opportunities for CPI from state supports and similar sources.
- Dynamic, good communicator, presenter, networker.
- Outgoing, sociable and passionate, with a keenness to attend events, keep up to date with latest news and trends in the advertising industry and charisma to develop and grow the CPI brand.
- Initiative to lead, to push members and drive change and be innovative.
- Basic design skills (for communications and CPI posts).
Salary: €10,000 for 8 hours per week – Pro Rata equates to €50,000 pa
