Element Pictures is hiring a Marketing Manager for an exciting new Video on Demand platform called VOLTA. Film lovers in Ireland will finally have a secure and easy way to stream or download the best of independent Irish and International cinema straight to their desktop.

As Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing the overall marketing strategy for Volta and for the bottom line profitability of the site. In this role you’ll conceptualise and execute the online and offline marketing and promotions initiatives, develop and manage key third-party relationships and prepare and manage the budget.

If you’re an indie film buff with a passion for all-things online, and have a proven track record in marketing and growing the revenue from a B2C e-commerce website, we want to hear from you!

If you’re right for this job, you’ll be able to demonstrate an ability to create successful marketing and promotional campaigns both on and offline. Your speciality will be online promotions and advertising but you’ll be just as comfortable creating print, TV and radio campaigns. You’ll be able to show examples of your creative side through previous email campaigns, competitions, promotions and partnerships and you’ll demonstrate how you would do the same for Volta.

You’ll already have an established social media presence, a clear ability to engage with people on the web and a strong understanding of social community behaviours. You’ll have PPC and SEO experience as well as an uncanny ability to analyse and monitor site traffic; identify trends, draw relevant conclusions and develop future strategy based on your findings.

You’ll have a good degree in a Marketing-related discipline with at least 2 years of experience working with online retail brands. Previous marketing experience in the film industry is a bonus. You’ll hit the ground running, deliver results quickly and be able to work to tight deadlines without heavy supervision. Most importantly, you’ll have a relentlessly enthusiastic and positive attitude towards your work!
