The Yellow Fever Indie Film Festival is run by film makers, for film makers. Created by George Clarke (of Yellow Fever Productions) in 2009, the festival has went from strength to strength pulling in a host of amazing world wide film makers and industry names such as the prolific Albert Pyun (Cyborg, Captain America, Road To Hell) and Mike Leeder (Fearless, Rush Hour 3, Man Of Tai Chi).

This course, a collaboration between Galway Film Centre, Gréasán na Meán Skillnet and Screen Training Ireland, will cover each stage of the script supervision process from prep to production to post. It will also include practical exercises with actors. Please note, participants will be required to do assignments in their own time, outside of course hours.

Over 50 directors, actors and producers attend the festival each year to meet Irish filmmakers and audiences and discuss their work. An array of film talent has joined in with the celebration, including Daniel Day Lewis, Gabriel Byrne, Jim Sheridan, Patricia Clarkson, Kristin Scott Thomas Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Tilda Swinton, Charlize Theron, Colin Firth, Al Pacino, Martin Sheen, Glen Close, Mark Wahlberg and Liam Neeson, among others, all of whom have graced the DIFF red carpet.

The short film festival of Ireland welcomes short films from all over the world in all genres and types. We're filmmakers and we love sharing, seeing and finding new short films that tell great stories, no matter what the format. We believe in short films and that the future of narrative content in particular is heading towards much shorter content. With that in mind we wanted to create a festival that will bring the very best of short films from all over the world to Ireland. Our festival will take place in Wexford, Ireland and screenings will be hosted in 100 seat theater with HD projection and 5.1 surround sound.

Tickets are €150 and €120 for a student ticket. Learn how to: Build armature. Design and create a plasticine puppet. Draw and plan a storyboard. Build a set. Animate your puppet. Use Dragon Frame. Two days where you will learn all of the above and have a puppet and a DVD of the animation created at the end of the course. This is a great weekend workshop for anyone wanting to learn the basics of stop motion animation and leave with the skills to make your own animated films. All equipment and materials are included, no need to bring anything. This workshop is very hands on with each participant benefiting from one to one tuition throughout the weekend. *You will also receive exclusing video and PDF tutorials reflecting this workshop which you can keep. These will help you continue to create any future animations*
