The Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT) Television Drama and Crime Fiction Symposium presented by National Film School & Department of Humanities & Arts Management will bring academics, practitioners and policy-makers together to provide a forum for an engaged and timely debate from diverse perspectives on television drama in Ireland in the 21st century.

This one day course suits those new to digital video editing, digital educators and existing iPad videographers.

It provides experience in importing footage from multiple sources including other iDevices, organising said footage and editing an interview-based piece using the iMovie for iPad app.

Principles of editing will be discussed throughout particularly in relation to cutaways and background music. Attendees will gain confidence in applying and customising the preset transitions and titles offered in iMovie for iPad. Finally, guidance on how to share your work to master files, mobile devices and contemporary social media outlets will be given.
