IDFAcademy is open to emerging filmmakers and producers from countries of the EU, according to the list of countries compiled by the MEDIA Programme. The selection (80 participants maximum) will be based on the provided information, such as background and motivation and will be made the end of October.

Screen Training Ireland and Galway Film Centre are seeking participants for a practical two-day workshop with director Dearbhla Walsh and casting director Maureen Hughes on Approaching Auditions. Participants on this workshop are required to attend the half-day Approaching Auditions Seminar on the previous day. Successful applicants will submit an audition piece prior to course commencement.
