Whit Stillman’s period comedy starring Kate Beckinsale (Underworld: Blood Wars) and Chloe Sevigny (American Horror Story) is nominated for Film of the Year.
It shares its category with double projects stand-out Robbie Ryan; ‘American Honey’ and ‘I, Daniel Blake’.
Stillman is also nominated for Screenwriter of the Year for his work on ‘Love & Friendship’, with Beckinsale recognised in the Actress of the Year category and Tom Bennett (Mascots) for Supporting Actor.
It also shares the category of Best British/Irish Film of the Year with ‘Sing Street’ (John Carney), ‘I, Daniel Blake’ (Ken Loach), ‘American Honey’ and ‘High-Rise’ (Ben Wheatley).
Winners will be announced on Sunday, January 22nd 2017.
