Adding to a growing slate of recent overseas sales, Dublin-based Monster Entertainment have secured a string of new deals across Europe, Asia and South America with brand-new animated series 'Tiny Square Critters'.
Launched at MIP Junior - the children's entertainment wing of annual trade event MIPCOM -, 'Tiny Square Critters' tells the story of woodland animals while teaching the target audience of 3 to 6 years old to draw a different animal each week.
Co-produced by Danish company Tiny Film, 'Tiny Square Critters' has been acquired by broadcasters YLE Finland, EduCar in Argentina, Multimania TV who will air it in Russia, CIS, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia and WhyJ Contents in South Korea.
Further international sales from Monster Entertainment in recent months include the sale of the 'I'm A..' format, which focuses on various creatures such as monsters and insects who introduce themselves and the worlds they live in. With the rights to the four existing instalments now sold to over 150 countries, a fifth is currently in development under the title "I'm A Fish". MIP Junior also saw Monster secure the sale of Lindsay J. Sedgwick's 'Punky' series to Al Jazeera and CSC Media Group.
'Tiny Square Critters' features 26 7 minute instalments in the series. For more information on the show and other Monster Entertainment projects, visit their website.
