Living with Lucy Returns to Virgin Media One
10 Sep 2018 :
‘Living with Lucy’ returns this Monday with its second episode, which will see Lucy live with ‘The Only Way is Essex’ star Gemma Collins. Gemma also opens up to Lucy about her relationship with Arg and her love of psychics.

‘Living with Lucy’ airs on Virgin Media One on Monday 10th September at 9pm.

Speaking about the success of the stripped back approach to production on ‘Living with Lucy’, Executive Producer Brian Graham told IFTN:

“This is probably one of our simplest formats, but also one of our most successful.

‘Living with Lucy’ operates on a scaled down crew of producer/director, camera and sound.”

“Each reality episode is recorded in sequence over a 3 day period. Long lens filming is sometimes used in helping the guest relax and chat comfortably with Lucy. While the crew are with our host and guest, they do take a ‘backstage’ roll. The key is our presenter, Lucy Kennedy, the guests trust her and because of this, they open up to her unlike in any other chat show.”

Brian Graham serves as Exec producer on the series, while Ciaran Gallagher is credited as Series Producer, Producer and Director. Series editor is Shane Callan and Camera is done by Martin Birney. Post production was done by Tony Kiernan and Moynihan Russell of Adare Post

In this week’s episode, Lucy heads to Essex to cosy up to reality TV Star Gemma Collins, who turns Lucy into a bona fide Essex girl, as she hangs out with Gemma for the weekend and gets to live her crazy life. There is only one problem…. Gemma only has one bedroom in her house and expects Lucy to share her bed….and Gemma sleeps naked. When not being papped by the press, Lucy is put to work in Gemma’s shop, made to clear out her wardrobe and gets to meet the rest of the Collins family, including her mum, Joan.

Gemma opens up to Lucy about her love for Ireland and says; “I’m a big fan of the Irish”. She also talks about her love for former Westlife star, Brian McFadden, saying; “Brian McFadden was the one that got away, for me. He should have been mine”.

‘Living with Lucy’ airs on Virgin Media One – Monday, September 10th at 9pm.
