This is a film about Joey Dunlop the man and Joey Dunlop the racer, seen through the eyes of his biggest fans and closest friends. Three years after his death on a Talinn racetrack The Lost Riders embark upon an aid mission to an Estonian orphanage.
Their emotional and eventful journey honours their hero, following the route he would have taken on many of his aid trips. At journey’s end the satisfaction of delivering much needed wheelchairs to an Estonian orphanage contrasts greatly with the raw passion of an impromptu eulogy at the spot where Joey died, three years to the day.
