Evan Chamberlain is the Managing Director of Good Company Productions. Heis a Bilingual speaker with a great knowledge of the geographical layout of Ireland, and indeed over the 80 countries he has visited Worldwide, he has a sense of responsibility in what he makes, he has a great love for the past and the stories that must be told before it’s too late and is always thinking up new concepts, ideas and formats. Based in the Heart of Ireland, Good Company Productions. was founded in 2004 by Producer/Director Evan Chamberlain and has steadily built itself into a highly successful Independent Production Company with output immediately identified with popular and award-winning programming, light entertainment, reality, sport, music and travel and now also emerging into digital media.
Evan himself has an abundance of hands on experience of all aspects of television production and has succeeded in bringing together a group of very experienced and very gifted researchers, coordinators, directors, editors and producers and offers a fresh and creative approach to making television.
The emphasis in Good Company Productions is on creating new fresh formats. Series such as the ground breaking IFTA Nominated Farmers’ Reality Series ‘Feirm Factor’ for TG4, the fresh approach to mixing Sport and Music in the aptly named series ‘Pitch Perfect’ for TG4, the Award Winning ‘Higher Ground’ Entrepreneurs Series for RTE and the long running nostalgia Series ‘Mi na Meala’ (Honeymoon) have all shown that Good Company can create formats to match the very best. Of course Good Company Productions are most well known for their collaboration with Award Winning Travel Presenter Hector O hEochagain with a Series in Africa, Australia, . the UK . and Canada but the company has also established itself as a maker of quality Sports Programmes as can be seen from ‘Play it Again Sam‘. and ‘Sam‘ both hour long documentaries broadcast on TG4 .
