Galway Film Fleadh launches 2017 Festival Programme

Director of Programming Gar O’Brien revealed the line-up this evening which includes over eighty features, including sixteen world premieres. The Fleadh also includes a robust short film line-up of almost 100 Irish shorts, as well as event screenings, panel discussions, masterclasses and more.

2017 Ray Bingham New Talent Award Nominees Revealed

This year’s line-up is composed of one director, two producers and two actors, including Colm Seoighe of the 2017 opening film ‘Song of Granite’. Fellow actor Dafhyd Flynn from Frank Berry’s ‘Michael Inside’ is also nominated as is Donna Eperon, the producer on the title.

World Premiere of IFB Short Stories projects set for 2017 #FilmFleadh

The upcoming Galway Film Fleadh will mark the first screening of these IFB funded films, under the first instalment of the Short Stories film scheme. The films will screen Saturday 15 July at 12pm in Galway’s Town Hall.

Feature Film ‘Limbo’ from Gerard Barrett to have World Premiere at Galway Film Fleadh

The title will screen 1t 6pm on Saturday July 15th, Galway Film Fleadh at 6pm in the Town Hall. ‘Limbo’ was written and directed by Barrett, who also co-produced with Grainne O’Sullivan.

Galway Film Fleadh Announce Spotlight on Actors Masterclass

The masterclass runs from 14:00-17:00 on Saturday July 15th in the Radisson Hotel, Galway. Places on the casting workshop are limited – all successful applicants MUST bring an updated CV and headshot with them on the day, and have a one-minute long monologue prepared and ready to perform live (no longer than 1 minute).
