Horror titles ‘The Lodgers’ & ‘Muse’ join slate of Irish Films Screening at Cannes 2017

The Irish Film Board backed both projects, with ‘[Rec]’ director Jaume Balagueró directing the first and Irish talent Brian O’Malley (Let Us Prey) the second. 'Muse’ is produced by Fantastic Films’ Brendan McCarthy and John McDonnell and was filmed in Ireland, Belgium, and Spain.

XYZ Films handling World Sales at Cannes 2017 for upcoming ‘Red River’ from Irish Talent Gary Shore

The ‘Dracula Untold’ director is set to helm the thriller project which will film in Northern Ireland later this year. It sees a bloodthirsty drifter befriend an immigrant family to their murdered family, with Shore directing a script from Oscar-nominated Ronan Blaney (Boogaloo and Graham).
